How Membership Works
1
Select your membership type
We have different levels of membership types:
-
Individual
-
Family
-
Student
The membership provides an individual, family, or student with the use of the boathouse facilities permitted of the MRRA, launch permission for a private car-topped boat, attendance at MRRA member meetings, voting privileges, and participation in the club’s social activities. The basic membership does not include the use of MRRA boats. In order to use the club’s boats, you must enroll in one of the programs listed below.
2
Select your Program
Depending on your chosen membership type, different programs are available to you. These program selections define how you can row with the MRRA and are an additional cost. Current programs are Logbook Sculling, Masters Sculling, Open Sculling
(includes coaching with your own boat), and Off Peak Sculling. View the individual program pages to learn more and view our Programs & Fees page to view all of the programs available.
3
Onboarding
After you've chosen your membership type and program all thats left is payment and getting you signed up! There are just a few more steps before you can get out on the water:

-
Required Documents: MRRA has a number of required documents to sign before rowing.
-
Safety Video: You must view the safety video prior to rowing. Group viewing sessions are scheduled and announced to the membership in advance, but if you're in a hurry, you can watch the video online.
-
Captains Test: A sculler who wishes to join the MRRA with sculling privileges in the 1x must pass this test.
