Programs & Fees

To row with the MRRA, you must be a member of the Club. The only exception to this rule is for certain community access programs such as the our Learn To Row programs.

Prior rowing experience is expected for all programs below, except where noted. If you are looking to learn how to row, please view our Learn To Row programs.

Student Memberships: Restrictions apply: Must be full-time student, age 18 - 24.  Rowing season is restricted to June 1 through August 31;  Student Members may not row Class A boats; Hours for sculling are restricted to after 9am any day.

Per Individual, no discount for additional family members. Significant paperwork is required before your membership is accepted and approved. A Swim Certificate is also required if the member wishes to participate in any on-water programs.

Logbook Sculler

Standard price is per Family; Student price is per Individual. All family members must be a MRRA Standard Member. Must pass the Captain's Test.

Off Peak Sculling

Full Season.

For sweep rowers who also scull and have a Captains Test, add this option to guarantee you can row a boat on those nights when the sweep numbers don't quite add up. Off-peak sculling let's you row a 1x, 2x or 4x anytime after 9am.

Open Sweep

$325 pp

Full Season.

Pricing is per Individual. Team-based atmosphere, 1-3 sweep practices/week, coaching additional charge; full rowing season. Minimum experience level is the equivalent of 1-2 years of collegiate rowing experience.  Regatta fees and travel costs are NOT included.
